Where is the farmers market

As title says we're would I find the farmers market at the festival?

I think you might be referring to the collection of stalls in the Greenpeace field that sell local and organic produce, bread, cakes, fruit, cheese etc etc.

While we are on this topic, how easy is it to get to the city of glastonbury itself to check it out from the festival>?

There's an hourly shuttle bus between the Festival and Glastonbury Town that runs from Wednesday to Monday.

Though I can't imagine why anyone would want to use it - you may think you'll have some down time, but you won't. If you do want to plan a trip to Glastonbury Town, go before or after the Festival.

I'm guessing you must be American by your use of "city"?

Glastonbury is not a 'city' in UK terms. It's a very small rural market town.

It's a nice, alternative - hippy - place and so unusual in UK terms, and worth a visit if you fancy it. But it would take a big chunk out of a day within the festival, which I suspect you might find a far more interesting place.
