The problem is, I feel that for every band who won't/can't pay for a ticket, there will be 5 more who would jump at the chance if it means that not only do they get to go to Glastonbury, they get to say they played a it!   The way we consume music has changed and I do not doubt for a second it's much harder to get your foot in the door as a new artist these days. However, what Glastonbury is doing is obviously working for them as is. 

Just all feels extremely safe 6/10 light rock music to me personally.   If they have a direct choice between him and Fred Again I think it should be a no brainer to go for the latter (and I don't particularly like Fred Again)
