I reckon Tool should. Or at least within the next 5 years.

Not even a fan though. I'd rather Prince, another Blur set or equivalent classic Brit band (Stone Roses perhaps), and then the inevitable Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran set which you know is coming, like it or not

We didn't call it that. It had "fallen off the back of a lorry" round our way.

They did fencing at our school. Well, a little bit. And at the council run Sports Centre.

Edit: my school was a comp. A biggish one, but a comp. I did fencing myself for a couple of years, until I discovered beer and became too out of shape.

Bruce can still fuck off though.

First album's good. As is. If first Bruce album. After that it's the odd song per album that's worth owt. All the rest are a slight variation on phantom of the opera, iron maiden, number of the beast or hallowed be thy name but not as good.

In my teens I was a huge Maiden fan. First gig I went yo was them at Libpool Royal Court in 1981.

The first 3 albums are all excellent but it's been diminishing returns ever since. By 7th Son I couldn't take any more.

I'd fucking hate them to play Glastonbury.

I wish I went to to a comp. I went to a "technology college" where the cricket areas were used for underage smoking.

I once scored 2 rounders in an inter-house championship by standing still and letting everyone else be worse than me.

Cricket areas?

Inter house championship?

Gideon dear boy you've done well.

Cinder track was where it was at.

We got a bunch of those foam swords you get in shit tourist shops at castles delivered once, presumably so we could do some sort of health and safety approved fencing.

P.E teacher took one look at them and told us to go back to playing Rugby on the concrete. Had some good times with them & sub teachers though.

Also, surely inter-house is a thing everywhere? Sports day?

Houses aren't a thing everywhere.

More importantly, if they play, will we get a reading of Lord Iffy Boatrace up at the crows nest or the Free University of Glastonbury? one of the defining classics of late 20th century literature that.
