The Mac nailed their show at the Glasgow Hydro. It was the fucking jamfest of the summer. Wee excerpt of Man Of The World aside, there was hee haw blues rock, though, just pop belters the whole way, and all the better for it.

I've been there a few times but I don't remember their line-up announcements ever coming this early?! Possibly someone huge but it's probably Foals

On a really real though, it's probably Kendrick Lamar. He cancelled Open'er this year and maybe him returning was agreed straight away but not announced because of him doing a sister festival, Krakow Live, last week. This would be good.

If it is him then I'd imagine Glasto is a very likely possibility. He'd be best suited to Other headliner and I think it'd probably happen over a Pyramid sub. I'd go as far as saying if Faithless are subbing the Pyramid then Kendrick is unlikely two, they won't have two dancey/rap acts as sub I doubt.

I thought they'd be shit and then saw them play london this year and they were nothing short of sensational. And I am not really a fan at all. 

 

Then again, I also saw queen with adam lambert and also though that was mega so what do I know...

Why wouldn't I think they would sub if they played? It is based on that, not the instagram. They are touring again, they took pay dates this year, they have a past with Glasto which seems a mutual liking and it will have been 6 years since playing, that's a nice gap considering some who have returned.
