They might be good, they're probably shite, but still, how can there be that much music I've no clue about. How did that happen? WHEN did that happen? You live in an age where it doesn't need to be like that... Hit up Spotify for a Reading playlist when it is all officially announced, your new favourite band could be in that line up (and a lot you may not like!), something may REALLY push your buttons, don't miss out on that. Well that's it, isn't it? I spend Iย dunno how many hours a week on Spotify, i like to think that compared to my contemporaries, i'm all about this new music malarkey, and then i look at that and think 'fuck me, i'm fighting a losing battle here, might as well just give up now'

I know JP headliners vary in size quite a bit but I think they're a big enough pull, especially with a second album, to justify headlining itย
Supernintendo Chalmers
Another unimaginative UK festival lineup. I appreciate you can only book who's available but it's pretty weak, isn't it? I'd like to see Die Antwoord somewhere along the Glastonbury weekend. They always put on a good, energetic live show.ย Maybe high up on John Peel tent? ย
willd255
First festival outside America HAIM have been announced for. Is this legit? If so, are they an exclusive you reckon? Was really hoping for them at Glasto

Was really hoping for them at Glasto It's almost definitely legit - can't see why a member of a band being announced would post a fake one - but considering he seems to have jumped the gun, we won't know the exclusivities until probably Tuesday when the official site lists them all. Be surprised if they're an exclusive though - they seem to love Glasto and would probably jump at the chance to appear again

Tย quite often gets the balance right for my musical taste and the Slam tent is always on the money. There's probably more on the Tย lineup so far that I would take over RnL. T's biggest drawback is (sweeping generalisation alert) those who attend. But that's a discussion for another time and thread :-)

All they are going to hold back is probably The Weeknd slipping in on Friday.....which doesn't make that day go from terrible to less terrible personally. Possibly Bloc Party above The Vaccines. I imagine Frank is in for a tellingย off but he comes across as not giving a shit lol. I would see 3 acts two of the days and 0 the other day. the wonderwhy
I wanna know why they've bothered emailing out a version of the lineup with 'draft' plastered over it to the bandsย
sime
Good to see Die Antwoord on that poster. Makes me hope they have a couple of uk gigs planned. Be great to have them at Glastonbury too.

paulmuchmore
I guess the draft poster is just to give the bands an idea of who's playing around them/more directed towards their management/label and sometimes ends up in the hands of the artist? Would like HAIM, Chvrches, Slaves, and a few others off there to turn up at Glastonbury. And they really should've just made Biffy and Foals outright headliners. Acid_Haze
Kinda surprised to see no Tame Impala on that R&L poster. I'd say that makes them even more likely for a good slot at Glastonbury
Amy Lawn
I'll take Anderson .Paak, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Lady Leshurr, Cage The Elephant and Fall Out Boy off that R&L line-up, and I really hope they keep the rest. I dunno, they've made a big deal about how much they like Glastonbury so I can see them playing. They did two sets in 2013 and by all accounts loved it, played Friday 2014 and made a point of staying until the Saturday so they could see the festival and do a secret set with some of Mumford & Sons and last year at least one of them was tweeting about how they wished they were there. I can see them making a point of at least trying to play.
