Well that's it, isn't it? I spend I dunno how many hours a week on Spotify, i like to think that compared to my contemporaries, i'm all about this new music malarkey, and then i look at that and think 'fuck me, i'm fighting a losing battle here, might as well just give up now'

Reckon they'd headline myself. I know JP headliners vary in size quite a bit but I think they're a big enough pull, especially with a second album, to justify headlining it

Another unimaginative UK festival lineup. I appreciate you can only book who's available but it's pretty weak, isn't it?

I'd like to see Die Antwoord somewhere along the Glastonbury weekend. They always put on a good, energetic live show. Maybe high up on John Peel tent?

First festival outside America HAIM have been announced for. Is this legit? If so, are they an exclusive you reckon? Was really hoping for them at Glasto

It's almost definitely legit - can't see why a member of a band being announced would post a fake one - but considering he seems to have jumped the gun, we won't know the exclusivities until probably Tuesday when the official site lists them all. Be surprised if they're an exclusive though - they seem to love Glasto and would probably jump at the chance to appear again

T quite often gets the balance right for my musical taste and the Slam tent is always on the money. There's probably more on the T lineup so far that I would take over RnL. T's biggest drawback is (sweeping generalisation alert) those who attend. But that's a discussion for another time and thread :-)

All they are going to hold back is probably The Weeknd slipping in on Friday.....which doesn't make that day go from terrible to less terrible personally. Possibly Bloc Party above The Vaccines. I imagine Frank is in for a telling off but he comes across as not giving a shit lol. I would see 3 acts two of the days and 0 the other day. The whole of Facebook and Twitter know bar a few at most who it'll be and Efests will update SR tomorrow too or even TBC.

I guess the draft poster is just to give the bands an idea of who's playing around them/more directed towards their management/label and sometimes ends up in the hands of the artist?

Would like HAIM, Chvrches, Slaves, and a few others off there to turn up at Glastonbury. And they really should've just made Biffy and Foals outright headliners.

they'll probably be playing Electric Picnic the week after R&L if they're over, perhaps a couple of other european festivals in the weeks before it.

I dunno, they've made a big deal about how much they like Glastonbury so I can see them playing. They did two sets in 2013 and by all accounts loved it, played Friday 2014 and made a point of staying until the Saturday so they could see the festival and do a secret set with some of Mumford & Sons and last year at least one of them was tweeting about how they wished they were there. I can see them making a point of at least trying to play.
