Hope we get stage splits on Tuesday and can work out what Neil was on about with NME headliners being equivalent to 3rd down NME. Only potential ones I could see are HAIM and A$AP Rocky. I think HAIM will be main at R&L, though. A$AP Rocky definitely the most preferable option. I had Jack U, TDCC and The Vaccines as NME headliners, though, of which none will be 3rd down the Other this year.

Also looking forward to seeing what Biffy's exclusivity status is.

Was that meaning the NME headliners headliners are equivalent to about 3rd down on the Other?

Id so I'm going to guess BBK, Courteeners and Asap

edit: actually maybe chvrches instead of bbk

Yeah he said NME headline was equivalent to 3rd down Other and said to ask for an explanation in April if we still care. So I took that to mean someone headlining the NME Stage either this year or in the last year or two will be third down the Other Stage this year. There are no remotely likely options from the last couple of years so I'm guessing an NME headliner from this year will do it.

Edit: I can't see Jack รœ doing anything other than headlining NME. They're also headlining a stage at Creamfields on the Saturday when they're set toย play Leeds so I guess they'll play early on at Creamfields and then head to Leeds; inย which case I think they'll be on as late as possible at Leeds. CHVRCHES opposite Foals would be mental, too, but then again Jack รœ opposite Disclosure probably is as well.

Vaccines were 3rd down the Other last year, playedย at about 7pm on the Friday

In regards to Glastonbury:ย Is the school of thought that we wont really hear anything new officially now for about a month? Before a poster being released?

Im hoping Neil manages to get word on any WH headliners... preferably something good!! I remember he had the Parliament / Funkadelic saturday spot on a few weeks before the poster reveal.

Think Earth, Wind and Fire are a good bet for one of them. The other two I couldn't hazard a guess at - always some massive surprises on the WH lineup (Mothership last year - Bryan Ferry the year before etc)

It seems like it, EE said another headliner in around 2 weeks when they announced Colplay, did exactly that and that we'd get a full lineup in April. ย I'm hoping that they announce the last headliner somewhere between now and then though.
