roughbloke
The other day, I remember Neil saying that playing 3rd down on the Other Stage at Glasto was the equivalent of headlining the NME stage at reading or something. Does that mean The 1975 have been booked to play 3rd down on the other stage?

A couple of the unbold are a bit less ballady than 'Someone like you' and the like, but I guess still count. I mean, this is all relative. Even the faster paced Adele songs she sings the shit out of, so can come across kind of ballad like, but they aren't really. I suspect songs 8 - 12 are where she will lose everyone at Glastonbury. This was a 2 hour set though, so her Glastonbury set will be shorter, and really not that ballad filled. But likely still enough to put people off who don't want to stand around waving lighters for an hour and a half. Nah the Dylan cover is peak Glasto. SwedgeAntilles
I found that if you highlight then press down on the unwanted quote box for a few seconds you get an option to cut/copy/paste. Then just select the cut option to get rid of the box. That seems to work on the S6 anyway.

Not only that, I now can't even type underneath the quote box. I was meaning to create a proper thread on this in the correct place with a proper report of what's happening and what I've tried. The biggest problem is that it's not just showing old abandoned posts, but those I've actually successfully submitted. BTW Neil, I'm happy to volunteer dev time to assist, it's driving me mental. stuartbert two hats
I'm on Marshmallow (Moto X Play) and the copy paste implementation seems to have changed. I could usually get it to work on Lollipop, but I can almost never get it to delete now. Annoyingly, I *have* managed to get it to delete a couple of times, but have never been able to reliably get the quote to go.

Click on the quote so the little 'multi-arrow' move box shows up in the top left corner. Then click on the move box once. Then hit delete/backspace on your keypad. That usually works for me

It just dismissed the keyboard. Ok, I'm going to continue this here:

Honeybane
Neil, or anyone - Any news on HAIM, Slaves, 1975, Peace, Wolf Alice etc at Glasto? In other word, bands that have the capability of playing very high up in the NME tent at Reading. Usually the most exciting to watch during the day at a festival (potentially more enjoyable then headliners, especially this year at Glasto.) Haim aren't going to be there, they are definitely an exclusive for R/L. Wolf Alice played twice last year so you can probably count them out, but not impossible. Slaves also played twice, so again unlikely, but not impossible. The 1975 will definitely be there. Peace are absolutely mince, so hopefully not

wozwebs
Peace did a wedding band set in the Rabbit Hole which I missed but my friend said was superb. Did covers of Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News and Song 2 by Blur amongst many.
