This was before he heard the 'no Radiohead UK festivals' bit. True me - for a bit there we had Radiohead nailed on to headline with Adele subbing

It was a rollercoaster 40 minutes. And given it's not been discounted as of yet I'm clinging to it.

There can only be one spirit which brings ageing middle-class white people out into spontaneous bursts of determinedly in-time clapping, James gigs can evidently be added to the Strictly Come Dancing list of events where it happens but probably shouldn't. Praise be to him.

Sometimes when he looks deep into your eyes, he can swear he can see your soul.

Ah I've missed the onset of pure panic and frantic searching on Twitter everytime the forum won't load for 5 minutes.

I always think there's been an announcement and every man and his dog is on here.

Yep. Just had that!

Also Ben Kingsley and some bloke off Eurovision last year. There is no escape.

Talking of Eurovision, have you seen the Eurovision sized hole in Adele's tour schedule? You don't think... do you? Could be interesting...

Aarhus?

In the middle of aah street?

I couldn't just upvote.

I also had to comment specifically on the mastery of that line.

Classic Gnomy, that, and one of the reasons why you're one of my favourite posters*

I have not heard a dickie bird more mate. Looking at the Roses forums there is a lot of apprehension regarding the 4th of March. The word is that they will be announcing an ep. It is like the Radiohead thread on here, on there. One minute everyone is ecstatic and then the depression sets in. I can understand really as the Roses have not put out any new music for 21 years.

Alright cheers. I'll keep an eye on the Roses forum

The first song I can hardly hear so will go have a look at Youtube. The second one is not for me. The crowd are just stood there. That is not my idea of fun really but each to their own.

I want this after I have been on the lash all day.

Apologies to ram more radiohead videos down your throat, but in terms of the crowd standing still, see this from 4:30 onwards

then, more recently, and of the sing-along variety see (esp 2:20 onwards)

In any case, their sets are varied and the idea that the whole thing would be static and "chin stroky" is not necessarily true. If Radiohead were to headline this year or the next, considering it would probably be their last time at glasto, I'd no doubt they'd pull it out of the bag and deliver an unforgettable set.

This is the kind of optimism this thread needs.

I'm on Marshmallow (Moto X Play) and the copy paste implementation seems to have changed. I could usually get it to work on Lollipop, but I can almost never get it to delete now.

Annoyingly, I *have* managed to get it to delete a couple of times, but have never been able to reliably get the quote to go.

I highlight the quoted text, hit backspace, hit enter a couple of times, then backspace a couple of times, if it doesn't do the trick I repeat hitting enter and backspace til it does.  That does the job for me on various browsers/devices.
