Must be a new album announcement, single or TV programme. I think they (the Eavii) did aim to put the Foo Fighters rumours to bed by saying how they have 3 British headliners. Wishful thinking but chances of Foos playing a secret set and/or maybe returning next year?

sisco
Someone just questioned, If Adele's big enough to headline!!! Seriously, you may not like her, she may not be the uplifting music you want on a Saturday night but big enough!!!!!! Come on now.

Never said I didn't like her, she's a great singer, I was simply questioning her ability to headline or whether she'd sub, genuine curiousity. A simple "oh she's definitely big enough to headline" would have been a bit better, no need to be so rude, asking a question I was, not degrading her. How can you question whether Adele is big enough but then suggest Biffy Clyro, who are CO-headlining Reading/Leeds? As for Foos, I doubt they'll be there in any capacity this year, but they're a pretty good bet to be headlining next year with a new album

TBH I question anyone's sanity who doesn't think or know that she is big enough to headline.

You don't need people here to tell you if she's big enough to headline, that'll put your mind at rest Edited March 2, 2016 by Mezhyp1

This, shes probably the biggest right now out of every act to be mentioned or any act who could possibly play at glastonbury? Her ticket sales pretty much speak that and not to mention she had the biggest selling album...?
coreyt409
I think my post was interpreted a LOT different to how I meant it, didn't mean to annoy all the Adele fans, was simply trying to continue with the title of this thread whilst getting people (myself included) excited for June and upcoming annoncements, not cause everyone on the forum to hate me haha, sorry guys and gals. CaledonianGonzo
Do any of the reviews of the opening night of Adele's tour indicate how much she runs around the stage? That might settle the question of whether she can headline or not.

Nobody is saying they are Adele fans btw!! But it's just ridiculous to even question if she could headline. And sadly for most on here.... She probably will

Don't think you will find many Adele fans on here but I think people have questioned (myself included) the issue of Adele being a big enough act. I've put a few stats up on here to give people a gauge on her size here's couple again (headliner related)... Beyonce has sold 35 million albums as a solo artist (5 albums), Adele has sold 31 million copies of her second album '21' Adele has sold 19 million copies in three months of her latest album '25' which it more than Blur have sold in total over their 25 year career. I like to point out at this point I will be nowhere near Adele as I will be at New Order (Or SSSLLLLAAAAYYYYEEETRRR)

She is big enough and will Kill it that's if by the time June comes around her voice is holding up.
HoTWire
I'm not sure what I'll do in the case of the up coming Slayer / Adele clash. I like both equally and would happily see both, although I've seen Slayer a number of times already and haven't seen Adele (for obvious lack of touring reasons)... interesting problem.
