I bet 90% of this board will at least go see a song or 2 out of curiosity. I certainly will be even if I wander off after a couple of songs. i think it's a good thing that she's doing it, but i'll definitely be in the 10%. I said the same about kanye west and ended up seeing him, but I didnt know anything about him so was prepared to go along and see what the fuss was all about. However, I know more than enough about adele to know it'll be appalling and that the field will be drenched in piss from all you sensitive types losing control of your bladders when she sings a song about her ex boyfriend fucking her sister. Again and again. Edited March 2, 2016 by russycarps

Given a choice of Adele and New Order, id edge towards NO. However, this is glastonbury. There will almost definitely be multiple things on that night that will be more to my tastes. Woffy
The only reason I'd be at the Pyramid for that is because we camp quite nearby and I might've had a 'tiring and emotional' day, peaked too soon and be sat round the camp fire. If this is the case, the last thing I need to listen to is Adele. Saturday will therefore need to be planned to perfection and managed properly. CaledonianGonzo
I hate these lovelorn crybaby types who sing slow, emotional songs about their past love affairs.
shuttlep
I won't be there, if she plays I ma planning on heading to the naughty corner and miss the crowds. half f my group would go the other half won't be. I was forced to sit through most of Mary J last year. it was the most horrid I have felt at Glasto. never to be repeated
The Nal
No running, no loud guitars, no "make some noise". Nowt. She needs to adopt the stage craft at 20 seconds here Edited March 2, 2016 by The Nal

SwedgeAntilles
I would like to say I'll be as far away from the Pyramid as possible, but I'll be at New Order. Which isn't really that far away. But the point remains: even the wild neighing horses of morbid curiosity couldn't drag me to see Adele.

CaledonianGonzo
The clip I've seen of No More Dramas is aces. Albeit it's a love song without the guitars turned up, so not suitable for a rock festival.
jparx
At most other festivals that comment would be true, but there's just too much to experience at Glastonbury to watch a headliner you don't like. I'll be nowhere near the Pyramid stage on Saturday regardless of what else is on at the same time. There's bound to be something more enjoyable than watching an act I don't like. Gnomicide
Would now be an appropriate time for a self confessed metal fan to point out that Slayer are shit? No? Ok, carry on.
Festival Liam
One plus point of an Adele headliner set is you know her chat is going to be 100x better than Muse and Coldplays.

Ok, carry on. Having seen Slayer on their most recent tour, and being bored stiff for 98% of it, I am complete agreement with you on this!
