Hugh Jass
Could Anita, Denise and their respective husbands not form an ABBA-esque supergroup?

It all sounds a bit more Fleetwood Mac than Abba round their way. Anyway! So, yeah, Adele headlining and all that, ummm, pfff, yeah. *sigh* Edited March 7, 2016 by Woffy

Hopefully the husband is called Steve, Scott or Stuart. The super group could be SAD. Edited March 7, 2016 by FuzzyDunlop

Both of their husbands are called Gareth. I didn't include their names in the original post because I thought it might make things confusing... He will be married again and have children before The stone Roses release any more material :-)

Although it probably made matters far less complex for Anita when in the throes of orgiastic passion.
Alan_C
Just looked at the Muse setlists at their recent gigs. It seems only one (sometimes none) song from Origin Of Symmetry has been getting played. I would have absolutely no interest in seeing them if this was the case. CaledonianGonzo
It's gonna be like Hiroshima 2.0 when Frank Spencer and the lads stride out and launch straight into Thermonuclear Overexcited Teenager.

Alan_C
Basically, they aren't worth seeing anymore then.
jparx
The booking of Muse continues to baffle me. I'd consider myself a very casual fan and they are a good live act, but ultimately they are a very uninspired choice of headliner. The fact people on here are upset they aren't playing enough songs from Origin tells you all you need to know really. That album is 15 years old and it's still the pinnacle of their work. justperfect
Will they risk flying drones overhead during their set or would they think heavily intoxicated glasto attendees would see this as target practice and try to ground one
CaledonianGonzo
This was the order of play the last time I encountered this beat group:Knights of Cydonia Hysteria Supermassive Black Hole Map of the Problematique Butterflies Assassin (extended) Hoodoo (+piano interlude) Apocalypse Please (+piano outro) Feeling Good Invincible Starlight Man of Mystery (The Shadows cover) Time Is Running Out New Born Encore: City of Delusion Plug In Baby Stockholm Syndrome Take a Bow[/quote] Was this meant to be one of the good setlists? Badlands
Is it me or do these boards seem awfully quiet considering we're into March now and the prospect of the first announcement in the next month or so?
gluther
I would take that set for Glastonbury over what we will likely get. Weird that at that point, I assume shortly after the release of BHAR, they had already given up on the first album.

Until someone mentions a vague comment about the Stone Roses playing, at which point the boards come alive with all manner of speculation!
