I have mixed feelings about this.  I mean, imagine if Celine Dion had headlined in the late 90s.

Probably worth pointing out that outside of this forum no one's talking about *any* Glastonbury headline sets - and the ones still evoked on here are very much subject to confirmation bias.

Busted are a weird one, they're selling shit tons of tickets but that's mainly to a specific crowd of people, most of which wouldn't be at Glastonbury so I don't think you could put them as a Pyramid headliner. Personally I think they'd fit right in Saturday night on West Holts

Hmm i dunno. Youre probably right. They did say there would be a headliner on west holts to "Gawp" at. I cant think of anything more suited for gawping than Charlie Simpson shredding during Thunderbirds.

I'd love Busted to be playing somewhere.  My 5 year old son at the time loved them, and must admit I grudgingly came to realise they had a few cracking singles - What I go to School For, Air Hostess, Year 3000, etc.  It would be tremendous fun.

Sorry but that's a load of shite. I think there are plenty of double standards when it comes to men and women but Adele's music isn't one of them. She's arguably in the same category as Sam Smith. If he were to headline there would be very, very similar reactions. 

If you want a comparison to Sufjan see what the reaction would be if Kate Bush were to hypothetically headline one year. 

When it comes to Adele's appearance, that's where you can highlight double standards more legitimately.

I'm not sure, I think the West Holts is a bit more about World and Roots music. I'd say Busted would make a much  better Park Stage headliner.
