I could read anything or nothing into the Adele clip - any and every band/act denies they are doing it when they are doing it or not doing it. Personally I think she would stick to the agreed timetable of telling the world if she were lined up to do it.

I see no reason to think she is not doing it as nobody else is on the rader to do it instead.

Thing I don't understand is why acknowledge the banner? Would be easier for her to keep quiet rather then doing another denial?

eFestivals had Coldplay down as TBC last year, I believe. I'm guessing the fact that he was wrong is why he's so reluctant to upgrade Adele from SR.

because she seems like the type to just blurt out whatever comes into her head most of the time, and going by concert clips, talks plenty of nonsense between songs.

They have though. Those 'headliners' that played second to last? They were subs. Yes, even The Pixies and Smashing Pumpkins. They were never  advertised as headliners and didn't play last.

They don't, but a Radiohead headline set which I'd expect to be 2hrs will still interrupt a 'other sub ' slot and the added time to get round to the pyramid.

Yes but we knew before announcement day that the Coldplay thing wasn't right... What I mean is, have we ever been expecting someone specific to be announced right up until the announcement and then had a total shock that no one has seen coming?
