stewieee
Muse announcement tomorrow morning. They are already listed as a headliner rumour on here so it would be interesting to see if this turns out to be a big tour announcement for next year... Amy Lawn
I bet his announcement is that he's turning himself in to the authorities, and will be full co-operating with the investigation into how that album cover ever saw the light of day. That cover has nothing on some of the 'art' they commissioned to go along with the individual tracks... look at this shit And then of course there's the music itself. russycarps
Muse are dung. Shame really, as I quite like that song "unintended", well the live version I have of it anyway.
CaledonianGonzo
Bit of an odd decision to do an in the round show at the Hydro given that it's a purpose built wedge-shaped auditorium, so all of the crowd will still be looking at one side of the stage. maelzoid
I for one think Muse are fantastic - their set at Download this year was enormous fun, and they are one of the few bands to arrive this millennium who can truly play a stadium. However... Am I the only one that shudders at the thought of 'In the round'? I'm not so keen on dropping my hard-earned to watch the back of the band for half the show. It seems a lot of stadium bands reach a point in their career when they resort to this nonsense, realise that its dumb, and go back to the traditional setup (c/f U2). I mean, if 'In the round' was any good, all shows would be like that, right?
JBarbour
Any excuse to post this Them tour dates set them up nicely for a number of euro festivals next year
big__phil
I used to really like Muse, but too many recent average albums has done it for me now. I wouldn't want to see them at Glastonbury again until they released another very good one.
maarrkk
i really like in the round. only seen prince and metallica in this format though, both times had good seats and loved the change from traditional staging. has definitely got me interested for the muse gigs, though might wait and see as would be awesome to see them on pyramid next year

nufcdwigo
I saw U2's 360 tour at Wembley and that was fantastic, as they put on a great show. However I was in front of the stage. I imagine my reaction may have been different if I had to stare at Bono's arse all evening. Then again, he's a complete arse so I guess we all saw it
maelzoid
Muse' Twitter Thanks. Just checked it and I guess this one is only for those who can afford to take a day off work and queue.

Yeah, tickets at the box office at 3pm. Cant get there until 5 so it's probably not worth trying. Muse fans tend to be rather fanatical. JoeyT
Muse stock has fallen considerably from 2010. Gone are the stadium tours from 5 years ago.
TomViolence
They're shit now but they've surely still got the capability to sell out stadium tours Edited September 11, 2015 by TomViolence
JoeyT
They're shit now but they've surely still got the capability to sell out stadium tours If their management team & record company thought this they'd be doing Wembley and not the O2 would they not?
