Fairly impressive but not as impressive as Jamie's Cryin' would have been.

If someone offers them $100 million, which they will, I can't see them turning it down.

Don't underestimate how big they were at the time and how much demand there will be for tickets. They sold 75 million albums in 4 years!

I probably can't see the others turning it down, but just don't think axl would do it for the money alone. I second reading the slash book, gives a good insight into how bad it got and axls temperment, obviously just one side of the story but I would guess it's a pretty fair reflection.

Wasn't mad on Slashs book either. I was interesting in hearing the stuff he did with Dave Mustaine while on smack. Heavy metal riffs. Never recorded mind you.

I know it's Australia but Blues Fest Byron Bay next March has had crossover with Glastonbury, shared a handfull or so last year. I'd say Noel G and The Decemberists would be decent additions.

How long does an Other headliner usually get? Only ones I've seen are Massive Attack and Chems, and Chems seemed to be over in 20 mins (I was absolutely hammered, but still couldn't believe how quickly it passed).

Without looking I'd guess no longer than 90 mins. I'd want at least 2 hours of the National.

90 minutes seems to be the max I think, based on old clashfinders, though most acts do 75.

The National I'm not really bothered about but fair play. I was a bit gutted when The Decemberists went from being TBC on here for this year then got removed so hoping 2nd time lucky.

NGHFB wouldn't be headlining next year anyway, the album has already came out etc. And no, I think there is every chance he would take a sub, to someone fairly substantial obviously. Either FF or FM I think.

If you want a great rock biog, I recommend Slash by Slash. He does come across well; easy-going, amusing, humble. Some of the shenanigans they got up to at their peak are the stuff of legends.

Duff McKagan's book is an amazing read. I absolutely loved it.
