So, what do we think BST, Reading/Leeds, Download, Glastonbury, or somewhere else?

ย

Maybe IOW as well? Not sure Glastonbury would pay what they want, so they'd need convincing that the exposure and salesย they'd get by headlining would be worth offset what they'll 'lose' in the fee of playing.

I spent the entirety of Jackson Browne sweating while also trying to find shade - that was a grim old day weather wise.

ย

I spent the entirety of Jackson Browne staggered at his mediocrity. I was listening from my tent mind you but meh.

Presume they'll go where the money is. Unless someone informs them that their new greatest hits - which they'll no doubt release - will sell a shitload more if they play Glasto.

ย

Someone get Lionel on the blower to Axl.

ย

So Adele, GnR and...........

True enough.

Hoping they get the Roses as a one off, the atmosphere would be incredible I reckon.

One old band and two newer acts. That way it doesn't get too stale

Not this again

If it's deemed unreasonable for Biffy to still be headlining off the back off an album from 2009 surely it's also unreasonable for a band to still be headlining off the back of an album from 1989

Please

:(

No announcement but they'll be playing Coachella.ย  If the news was accurate that Glastonbury had their headliners locked up weeks ago, GnR is probably not playing.ย  My understanding is that this all just came together.

ย

Highly doubt they'll play Coachella next year. They won't be prepared to reunite for a festival in seven months time when Slash's tour is still to run until the end of the year and such a huge reunion as this would take A LOT of ironing out financially. Year after I could see happening.
