2015 Campervan Tickets - Those in need - Download Festival

It seems that no longer can we bid on ebay for download festival campervan supplement tickets or any other kind of tickets. They'd like us to use stubhub and charge us a very high price for the priviledge. What's that all about? No longer can a genuine seller get a good price for a ticket and also sell it to someone who really wants one. We're not talking a few quid, the rates are extortionate and we don't have to put up with it.

I'm in need of a campervan ticket for the download festival. I'm happy to pay a premium price and come to collect. Please message me and I'll definitely have it.

Last year I must have seen half a dozen on ebay if not more so enough for the people I've seen asking about it on here. The Glastonbury guys have a real good thread up for thier tickets. Lets see if we can get some good old buying and selling (Paypal/Meet face to face) between rock dudes and dudettes who are lovin' the campervan way of life. I've been to every Download, first time in a campervan last year and I'm totally hooked.

I'm in a similar boat, me and my friends have bought tickets for download, there is about 10 of us. When we were buying our tickets we only had 1 van between us and that didn't even look good for going. Now there are 3 vans in our group and we would love just 1 more ticket.

What's bugging me is there are now 3 tickets on here and I don't seem to be getting any response off the sellers, one did say that they would phone me, 9 hours later I'm still waiting.

In addition to this how difficult would it be to post sold on the ad if the ticket has gone?

Aircooled72 you got further than I've gotten buddy.

Last year there was enough to go round on ebay so they are out there. It's just where and this site has the most noise about it right now. If I get sorted with a ticket myself I'll keep hunting for the rest of you, maybe find an alternative auction site so everyone gets a chance.

I'm pretty certain as the event draws near more will be available. When someone posts they have a ticket it must be pretty duanting when so many of us mail them and the reason I suggest an alternate auction site for them to put it up on. There must be one. Any suggestions?

Keep this thread going to try and solve a problem, those that need the campervan supplement and those that want to sell.

So far that's at least three of us that are wanting one.

I know what it's like for teachers, a teacher friend of mine arrives late every year, often going back to work with back ache, with the walking, jumping around...

If so I'd ask any would be sellers of campervan passes for download to advertise there and most of all, post here, let us all know. If I'm right thier fees are small.

Hi everyone, I'm also after that ever elusive campervan pass and happy to pay (a bit) over the odds if need be.

Can we also agree that, if you're selling one, once you have sold it you post a message that effect on here? That way we aren't all salivating over tickets that have already gone.

Why not give it a try? More tickets will become available, sellers will search google, look here, then go there, make sence. If I hear of anymore I'll let you know...

I did one on gumtree yesterday but they removed it, I did another today worded differently and its up so fingers crossed. Someone on here on an earlier post got back to me saying the ticket they had for sale had arrived.... And then never got back to me when I offered good money etc etc.... Very frustrating! Anyway... I'm still looking so if anyone has one then pleeeeese contact me. :-)

Exactly the same thing happened to me Sushi. When I put my ad in the wanted section on gumtree all was OK. We have all probably been making offers on the same tickets. Well I'm out the game now so hope you get lucky. Maybe put an ad in elsewhere too.

Its working I'm seeing those wanted ad's on gumtree now.

And I also see stevenbon has picked up a ticket from there too as I did. Before I got pipped to the post a guy called John (from the North) sold his campervan supplement on gumtree to someone local, a face to face meet so it's all happening. Good luck kids!

Somebody's put a campervan ticket up yesterday, plus two download festival tickets with 3 nights camping up on gumtree, in the romford area.

To get your wanted ad on gumtree, I think I chose entertainment, tickets and wanted, then wrote 'I'm in need of a campervan pass for download 2015. I'm happy to pay the best price and will collect anywhere in the uk.'
