If he's been invited along specifically by the Kidz Field team, it would be such a shame for Glastonbury to miss out having him elsewhere to do a lecture.

I'm sure all he'll be doing in the Kidz Field will be reading his new book, maybe a meet & great & generally allowing the parents to allow their child to experience the Hawkins.

I'm gutted he is in the Kidz Field. I don't really understand what will appeal to the kids, hardly a household name for them. I hope they do enjoy whatever he may do though.

I think most of the festival want to see him. For me it would be incredible. I have a huge love for astronomy (hence the username) and physics can be a bit of a guilty pleasure. I was unable to afford any more private astronomy lessons (no free lessons where I live) a couple of years ago so it would be amazing to be able to hear what Stephen Hawking has to say.

I was devastated when I got to the Crows Nest and Brian Cox was not only impossible to see, you couldn't hear him either. I would've happily listened to him without seeing him. I fear the same will happen for Hawking if he's on a small stage elsewhere. I will keep my hopes up for a bigger stage appearance as I know I wont be able to get in to the Kidz Field - I'm yet to get in there successfully, always stopped at the entrance!

Sorry if this has already been said somewhere but what day and time is he in the kids field and can we get in without a kid?!

I've got a pal who had said he was looking forward to 2015 as he can go to the Kids field with his children, whereas he and another pal were turned away previously for just wanting to have a wander about.
