Sticklinch is further to the right, the brown fields on the web cam. And to date hasn't got any fence that I can see, or bloody tents!! Cutting it very fine now.

Interesting, could just be extra security or maybe they will be putting in a gate there and allowing some staff off-site

The light poles are up there now, so it’s coming along

Very strange, that fence is heading up to Pennard Hill Farm, but they normally use the gate further to the right. Can't exactly see what that extra fence is going to do

i saw a WV image yesterday and there were gaps where the bellepad etc will be so i guess the festival doesn't own them and that they will be in use at other festivals this weekend.  Next week will be busy busy busy (or it better had be as i am staying there!!)

Maybe another access path up to the West end of Worth View? Obviously only if they put up a parallel fence to this one?

That’s not super fence. It’s the board and prop stuff they use around the camper van fields.

We arrived at the farm on Monday in 2019 and went for a wander around and at that point, we were panicking for them thinking 'this is never gonna be ready for Wednesday' but it's a bloody machine, people working away all over the place day and night, right up to the point where people start walking through the gates!

Are we working on the theory there may not be any trackway around the OS field this year? 

I suppose it could be at download currently and coming down next week but seems to be cutting it fine. Usually been laid by now.

I'd be very surprised if there wasn't. Is very much needed when it's muddy.

Yeah - it's one of the most critical bits of walkway on site. Even in dry years it helps direct the flow of traffic.

Yeah it does. There was one year where it was delayed because Download was a swamp.

I think it was worse than that ... much of that trackway never turned up at all.  Within a short space of time many paths that should have been covered in trackway were churned up into a boggy mess.  I seem to recall the journey from Gate A up to Paines was fairly perilous, even on Weds evening.
