It looked like this morning that the field where the other stage goes has been cut. So maybe starting on that in the next few days.

would also expect some trackway to start going down

they were still laying trackway across back of other stage field when we arrived on the Monday last year!

I think there was/is a shortage of it so the stuff that’s non-essential for the build can go down very last minute after it’s been used elsewhere.

Surprises me every year how much of the build still looks unfinished even a few days before gates open.  Plus they're always finishing the sound and light rigs on the main stages on the Weds/Thurs.  As an exercise in just in time logistics and planning it's incredible.

Other Stage base started going up on Wed 27th April last year so it should happen any time now

It seems there's a fair bit going on out of range of the webcam. West Holts started and The Temple is on its way up.

Went for a wander today and it has indeed! No sign of workers today so they’ve done this in 2 days which is impressive.

Worth noting I didn’t see a single puddle and whilst the grass was wet, the ground under it was firm. All will be fine 😊

I've just been for a walk by us and fields that were almost unpassable a few weeks ago had almost dried up.

That is what I like to hear! Especially since we are heading down Pilton way in a few weeks time camping and our annual wander round the lanes watching the fence go up!

Yeah it was a nice surprise as with the amount of rain we’ve had I was expecting loads of puddles and certainly a lot of mud. Walking boots came back as clean as they were when I put them on.
