Glastonbury tickets gone missing by royal mail

Royal mail have completely lost the my brother in laws tickets.

The tickets were supposed to arrive on Friday, but no one was in so theygot returned back to the sorting office, so we went online and arranged re-delivery.

When we checked today because we'd heard nothing, the tickets were supposedly delivered on Tuesday, but for some reason they weren't. There is a signature and name on the delivery details, but they don't match his details, and having rang royal mail they say the tickets have been delivered to some other address, but they are investigating where they could have gone to.

If the post office have delivered them to the wrong address, and got a signature as well, then Seetickets say they will not issue new tickets, but the name on the delivery from Royal mail is wrong.

What on earth do we do ?

Contact See and let them know the ticket is missing, let them do the legwork in chasing it up its their responsibility to deliver it to you, not yours to find it. You can copy the festival office into the email as well if you want. Give See and the Royal Mail a few days to sort it out before you worry about it too much, the worst case is the tickets are lost and you will have to pick up new ones at the festival. You will be going to the festival try not to let it stress you out too much.

As I say, its for my brother in law, he's the one whos tickets have gone missing. He's a complete technophobe, so has no idea what to do, so we're trying to sort it all out for him.

We're just waiting for Royal mail to get back to us to tell us where the tickets have actually been delivered to, because according to them, the tickets have been delivered to a completely different street. ( its actually gets tracked with google earth as well ).

So knowing they've delivered to the wrong address, and those tickets are missing, then we're hoping like hell they can find them again

Took the bull by the horns, and went round the estate that he lives on, asking every house if they'd had a special delivery package that wasn't for that house. Lo and behold we've managed to find the tickets delivered to a house with the same number, but on a different street.... The old bloke that had them had put the letter in the bin, and it was only because of the bank holiday that the binmen hadn't come today, so they were still there and not in the back of the recycling truck...

Panic over.....

Bloody Royal mail... the heart attack that this has caused is unreal... If I see that postman :scare:

Fair play thats a top effort when the ticket isnt even yours. Think someone owes you a couple of beers

Imagine putting it in the bin tho!!! That's terrible, if it was delivered signed for its obviously important. Why didn't he see the name and address obviously was not his and either refuse it or if too late and already signed for lash it through your brother in laws letter box instead of popping it in the bin?!?!

Thanks god for bank holidays!
