Minibus

Hi there,

I havent posted for a long time (2011) I was looking for some help. we have a minibus arriving on the site on wednesday morning around 8/9am but i noticed there is a drop off point then a shuttle bus which i want to avoid if i can. Its a 12 seater mini bus. I was wondering if A. Can i park in the normal car park if i was to buy a car park ticket or B. use the taxi drop off point?

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can park it in the normal carpark if you have a carparking ticket. we are bringing 3 minibuses down from Glasgow again this year and have done so for the past few years.

To be honest, even though it might seem like a hassle changing to the shuttle bus. You get a huge benefit in that you'll be given 'green traveller' benefits!

What this basically mean is you get in the fast-track queue and get some money off vouchers for food.

Last year I was in within 20mins of the gates opening! Whereas I have mates who drove, which took several hours!

If your minibus needs to park up for the duration of the festival then its going to be easier to pay for a parking ticket and park it in the fields as the Drop off point is for buses and mini buses that haven't made arrangements with the festival to acess the Bus Park at Gate A and won't be stopping for the festival but coming back on the Sunday or Monday to pick up to go back home.
