Last plea for volunteering

Hey there

I have been looking high and low for volunteering opportunities at Glasto. My friend's volunteering plans fell through shortly after the resale and since then we have been in touch with about everyone we (and google) can think of seeing if anyone needs some extra muscle for the festival.

Skills on offer:

- IT: works as technician for law firm

- Stewarding: volunteered at Green Man

- Bar work: plenty in Abergavenny and since at uni

- Social care: 5 years of professional and voluntary experience. Team leader for several of these years.

If you have any friends of friends that may know of a voluntary opportunity somewhere on site, or have any other weird and wonderful (legit) ways of being part of the glastonbury experience please could you get in touch

A recent e-mail I received suggests that there are still places on the Recycling Team, but it would have to be after the festival, Tues-Fri, in the Recycling Centre. But since we're getting close to the event you'd probably have to make contact and get it sorted quickly.

That'd probably be your best bet, but it's far from a 100% certainty (because your deposit would have to be processed, etc).
