I.d on coach to get tickets?

Hi All,

3 weeks today we will all be under canvas....

Getting the coach this year and note it says that the coach driver will only give ticket out if you have i.d.... what are people taking?!

Don't think we needed ID the last time we got the coach, but different drivers will have different rules - that's including luggage per person.

Think we just showed our driver the coach e-ticket

Depends on the driver. Some aren't that bothered and others make sure they follow everything they've been told. I will be taking my drivers licence, as it is also useful should I get ID at any of the bars.

An email from See tickets says I don't need to take any extra ID as the eticket will be enough.....

Haven't had it checked the last 2 years, but I'm not brave enough to risk not taking any and not getting on board...

Think that's just for the coach ticket. Re festival ticket my e-mail says

'To confirm, each individual entry ticket assigned to a registration will be individually sealed in an envelope. Each passenger must show a form of Identification in order to claim their entry ticket. As such all parties must be present on the coach in order to collect their entry ticket. The driver will only hand out entry tickets to those present on the coach.'

I would have thought your photographed ticket would be enough to convince them?

As the photographed ticket is in the sealed envelope and the driver does not have permission to open the envelope that would be difficult.

Not denying that could be a problem, but you'd think just opening the envelope would save a lot of hassle....
