Kendal Calling like festival

hi all

next year (as well as KC of course) a group of us lads are considering a festival as our annual meet up.

KC is a family affair for me so that's not an option however are there any suggestions for KC 'like' festivals? ideally with the 90's style headliners, not too big (certainly not bigger than KC!), & not rowdy.

also would need to be at least 2 weekends apart from KC as it takes me a week+ to recover!

The obvious choose would be Forgotten Fields, but it's the week after KC and who knows how the first year is going to go.

I'm thinking of going to Latitude next year. I've been meaning to for a while.

Wickerman will probs be 1 week apart from KC next year. Would normally recommend that if you fancy a trip North but new bookers this year and some other changes I don`t like the sound of. Normally a decent line up and plenty going on for around £100 ( they only charge a total booking fee of a quid ) but so far this year the line up is a shocker. Worth keeping an eye out for it next year as you can always get tickets long after the full line up is announced. Dance tents open till 4am if thats your thing.

Doesn't include camping though...although there are a few pay sites in the area.

Yeah couple of local sports clubs let you use their grounds for a tenner a night,
