My sister is coming by train on Weds afternoon. I'll be there already and will meet her at Gate A. But I've got her ticket with me. Will she be able to get the shuttle without a festival ticket?

Should be fine - don't remember them checking tickets at the train station in previous years. They're too busy trying to sort out getting people and their luggage onto buses in good time!

Might be worth her printing off a copy of her confirmation e-mail, just in case some jobsworth won't let her on without proof she has a ticket.

Technically they could check if you have a ticket, but I've been getting the train for years and only seen one person have their festival ticket checked in the bus queue.

To be fair, he was complaining aggressively about having to wait for the bus with the rest of us normal(?) punters which annoyed the stewards and everyone else.

It can vary, although in my experience it's not usually too bad unless there are problems on the roads. For the last couple of years I've arrived mid-afternoon and got straight onto a bus. But one year there were significant traffic problems - I ended up queueing for three hours at the station.
