Making Friends/Camp Buddies?

Hey!

I hope it's ok to post this here I wasn't really sure on the Topic Title either.

This is going to be my second year and Glastonbury and my boyfriend's 1st time - I have a horrible feeling he is a bit apprehensive about it and isn't too keen on going, he's recently really gone off festivals, gigs and having fun in general and I REFUSE to let him put a downer on my festival vibe. I'm holding onto the hope that hopefully he will love Glastonbury because it's so much better than other festivals, like so much more to do and he will keep busy etc.

In the hope of avoiding this I was wondering if there is a way I can meet a group of people to camp/chill with, make some new friends and just have a good time?

If there is a particular thread for this sort of thing please feel free to direct me, I'm new to forums :-)

Hi, if you go on the Glastonbury chat forum there is a post about a meet up at 6pm on weds and also a thread about solo campers. Maybe ditch the boyf and join up with them? Don't let him be a party pooper!!

Yep, if your BF is dragging you down just arrange to meet him at some point and go and have fun.

If you search for a group called Camp Solo its just a group of people who are going alone and have decided to camp together. You can chill with them too

Once you've set up camp you'll no doubt be able to make friends with a group near you. I know it sounds easier said than done, but there's nowhere better than Glasto for that kind of thing.
