Camping chairs?

Hey,

 

So this will be our second time at Glastonbury. The last time we went (2011), it rained quite a bit during the first two days, and the thing we weren't ready for is that there was absolutely nowhere to sit. This time we thought about bringing folding camping chairs (as everyone that we saw did in 2011), but since we're flying to Engalnd especially for the festival, it would be more comfortable for us to buy a couple on site rather than bringing them with our luggage. My question is - are camping chairs sold on site, and if so, what the price range (give or take)?

Loads of places sell them on site. Pretty sure I remember people selling them 2 for £15 last year.

 

Edit to mention that most of the ones you get there are of the cheap and tacky variety, and will probably break at some point.

My god I cannot imagine a festival without a camping chair. You don't quite realise how valuable having something to actually sit on is until there is absolutely nowhere except the ground.

we brought chairs for the first time last year and it was amazing! definitely bringing them again this year. not sure how you're getting from the airport to glastonbury but if you can stop at a Tesco or other big supermarket you're bound to be able to pick them up cheaply enough there. if not, they shouldn't be too expensive at glasto.

Also, I'd recommend duct-taping your tent and chair together to become one long annoying thing to carry, rather than two.

Chair a godsend for me, being disabled i often need to stop and finding a seat is often hard to find.

I do not sit in the middle of the pyramid stage crowd, or other stages crowds either.

This. My trusty millets chair has done every festival. The one brought there for other half as his broke. Litterally broke after me lugging it up hill...
