embedding tweets

It's now possible to embed tweets on these forums.

 

They look like this:-

how to do it

 

1. get the link to the tweet you want to embed. You do this by clicking on the 'more' link by any tweet, and copying the "Copy Link to Tweet" option.

 

(NOTE: it's NOT the "embed tweet" option that you use).

 

2. simply post that URL into your post.

 

That's it.

 

HOWEVER .... please note that if you're posting a link to a tweet in an existing thread and use the standard 'quick post' (which doesn't re-load the page, but instead just adds the new post to the page without reloading it) you won't see anything of the embeeded tweet until you do reload the page.
