Just going to say that I did bump into the lead singer of Foals on the overground in London - they are not subbing, but did get asked - so no doubt people are being asked.

I dunno, I reckon a band like Foals who are on the up would be more likely to turn it down than someone like Stereophonics or Elbow who aren't getting any bigger.
