The Mrs has just directed me to an article on the mirror saying Lilly Allen had some burns from an accident in her caravan onsite already. Perhaps this is normal ligging for her but the prospect of that lowest common denominator sub should not be ruled out.

I'm a classic rock fan mainly, blues, psyschedlic stuff, prog. Its fair to say I'm one of those old farts the festival clearly isn't catering to this year. In terms of the main stages. 2009 was the best lines up I've seen on the pyramid.

I don't do no hip hop, dance music or raves. My festival typically revolves around the Avalon, acoustic and Park stages.

It's my first Glastonbury, so I'm not too sure on previous line ups but, yeah, I'm also in to the genres you've stated but also a wide range of other genres and the stuff you've mentioned are probably the only genres not to feature heavily on the line up. You've a right to be a little bit miffed but I'm sure there's enough there to keep you going through the weekend!

You're catered to on Avalon, Acoustic, West Holts and Park stages, popular stuff is on the big stages. If you're a fan of a niche genres, it's no surprise that a festival that encompasses loads of stuff wont cater mainly to you. Glastonbury has the broadest and richest mix of music of any UK festival this year and every other.
