Hotchilidog
In a way I am enjoying the mystery of this delayed announcement, it is still dangling the possibility of a nice surprise before us. Quite frankly after weeks spent poring over the listings and gazing at maps and photos I think it is reasonably exciting not yet knowing who the replacement will be, idly speculating is a much underrated pastime. Having said that, the huge gap has opened up a host of possibilities for me, if the new act is really good my plans will once again be up in the air. Which is as it should be I suppose. DefLeppard
In a word yes. With the editing function you can make the clashfinder as big or small as you want. I highlight who I have an interest to see, then on the stages page, deselect every stage but leave the 'show stages you have highlighted acts on' box checked, that way you reduce the thing down to a managable size that you can fold up and keep in your pocket. Leave the bulky program in your tent, head out to the fields and miss everything you wanted to see. Thanks!

I don't really mind what they do but I hope a rejigging won't ruin my Motorhead-Run the Jewels-Mark Ronson-Rudimental plan for Friday evening/night
talktoplayer10
it would be nice if they just said something. like adjust the schedule and let everyone know.
wetflame
I'm sorry, did you mean to sound so bloody rude? I read the last page and the one before and it sounded like it hasn't been announced, which seemed kind of mad given people have started leaving their homes and it's going to cause massive logistical issues for other stages. Obviously that's the case, which is not something I was expecting hence my confusion and unwillingness to read 81 pages especially when about 50% of them are people moaning and bitching about the most ridiculous shit ever. I was being a bit sarky, yeah, but if you've read the last two pages and saw people talking about it not having been announced then why would you need to go back through the last 80 pages? It is a pain for people setting off to not know what's going on though. My mate's printed three copies of his clashfinder, there's going to be a lot of scribbling out going on there I think! mjsell
Where they any good? I know it's different being there compared to tv/video footage but they sounded absolutely dreadful on the Sky Arts coverage of IOW. As all reviews have been saying, they smashed it. They know how to put on a show and had the perfect ups and downs for a 2 hour 30 minute set. The acoustic moment was class, and they just have so many good songs. My only complaint would be that it was all very structured and pre planned and nothing new for them (which I obviously understand it wasn't) - what I'm saying is that it felt like it was their 94th show or whatever it was doing the same thing. But then again it's clearly working so why would they change it Edited June 23, 2015 by mjsell
jparx
I'm one of those people looking very much forward to RTJ>Caribou so I can't say I'm too bothered what happens. Unless someone mega is announced then I doubt I'll be changing my plans! I do agree that it's strange they haven't released a statement or anything. I'm not personally bothered, but it's definitely curious. They must have something up their sleeve. I reckon they are trying to keep it (Bastille, imo) a secret until everyone is at the festival. If it's someone people wouldn't be happy with, I guess it makes more sense to announce it when everyone is there and enjoying the festival, making a negative reaction is less likely. Not saying Bastille are a terrible choice, but they are clearly not sub headliner level in normal circumstances.
Icewulf
My only worry is that with a lack of big announcements on the Pyramid Stage, West Holts is going to be massively rammed for Hot Chip

I've been at a few televised gigs which people watching at home have said sounded awful but seemed amazing when you're there.

Tigerdragon
Hot Chip will nail it; crowded or not, you'll have a blast, whether in a sticky crowd jumping up and down or dancing in a more spaced out one.

Rose-Colored Boy
Maybe they could move Paloma and put someone else in her slot Busy Playing devil's advocate, you buy your ticket expecting three headliners, not two headliners and a sub. If people don't view Flo as a headliner that's their problem not the festival's They are going to have Charlotte Church rambling incoherently for 3 hours about economic theories That's on Sunday lunchtime. let's 'ave it!!!
Quite surprised that they haven't at least put some sort of announcement out, to show the re jigging that's been done. I'm gonna assume that the printed programme for Friday will not have the most up to date info, but what about those who have already left or are leaving pretty soon? SirDaniel
If we don't get anything by lunch time, I'm going to assume something is afoot. I feel that if it were just a case of a rejig, we'd have some official confirmation now.
Tuna
The new schedules will be on the electronic boards around the site, the free press posters, and probably on all the mainstages between acts on Friday, if they've left it that late. You'll be able to find out easily enough. Edited June 23, 2015 by Tuna
reflekting
The rolling Stones! Not heard a single good thing said about it by people who watched it on tv Arctics on the other hand looked great on TV when I got home, yet were pretty poor in the flesh. Possibly the least atmospheric headline set I've been to in the past 3 Glastos.
