Where? I wasn't aware of a book and the apparently makes me think someone's made that up on the basis of the fact they're playing earlier. I heard Bastille turned down a higher slot. Do I believe it? Dunno.

No, William Hill are betting on acts to appear at Glastonbury this weekend, it's in music specials on the website, Bastille opened up 7/1 favourites, but have since been suspended, max bet on any of these markets was £20, Blur were 12/1, now Evens, and we all know they ain't going to show up, so tells you this is just a novelty betting opportunity

How do we know that Blur will not be subbing? has there been an announcement about it?

Yeah Bastille are playing the festival.  They said so on US radio a couple of days ago.  The WG slot looks most likely, plus I've had an anonymous tip a few days ago saying it was right.

 

Still, none of that rules them out having their arms twisted to play twice.

Blur won't be subbing, they have said they may have played the festival if they could have, but they can't

Agree they're not worthy of a sub position, but mainly because they're still new and only have one album. Rumblings are they turned down a higher slot which is pretty admirable if true IMO.
