Coach from Glastonbury

I got a coach back to London from Glastonbury, but I actually want to leave earlier than the designated time.
I was looking at some blogs, and people said drivers only check on the way to Glastonbury, not the way back.

Can these be true?

Can only go on my own experiences, which is once with NX who examined every ticket, and See who didn't check on the way back.

i think they prioritise those who have a valid ticket for that time, and then fill up any space with anyone else who has a ticket for another time. you have paid for a return, why would they give a monkeys what time you went?
