Things not to miss for a first time goer

What are the things a newbie must absolutely not miss in Glastonbury, besides the music (even if I know the only answer could be"just wander")?

Stay away from the the Pyramid and the Other stage areas.

 

I used to love walking around the late night area, Arcadia Shangri-la etc, while there was a headline act on. These areas at 10pm are relatively quiet and you get a real feel for what they are about until the masses arrive and then it gets too busy to walk around.  

 

Check out the vibe around Stummerville. Used to love that area.

Green Fields area is a favourite for me, very relaxing in the daytime and nice food.

Stay up all night one night see the sunrise, its amazing how much stamina you can muster once you are in the zone!

Get up to flagtopia on the Wednesday night and see the sun set and darkness fall and watch the lights come on

Stand in the middle of the Glade when something particularly loud is on

But yeah just get about as much as you can and you will see plenty of amazing sites!

They seem to have moved Stummerville
