Distance from crew parking to Toms field

Just a quick question, arriving Monday as on the litter picking crew and have a purple car pass. How far away is the car parking area to Toms field? Only so I know what to carry when I arrive and if I could make two trips instead one big heavy ish one. Didn't want to arrive and stand around waiting to sign in with a weeks worth of kit if I didn't have to

Pretty close - at a guess you'll have about 10 minutes walk without luggage. Definitely easier to do more than 1 trip, if you're arriving on Monday then there's no rush to set up anyway.

You'll probably be parked in either Purple 1 or Purple 4 on the map, and you'll need to register at the portacabin just outside Gate B. Toms Field is just inside Gate B.

Last year there was some queues to register at times, so regardless of the distance from the car it's probably better to take the essentials first time round, as queuing while laden down would be a pain.

That's brilliant, I can just rock up with my tent, get registered etc, fight with tent poles then go back for rest of stuff!
