It basically fixes to the screen for eternity after a week in the sun. So people often put it on with cling film in between pass and screen or only stick the top bit on directly to try and make for easy removal.

I quite like wearing my car pass like a badge of honor for a few weeks after the festival... makes it easy to spot other people who have had the time of their life

Fine to stick it to the screen as long as you don't expect it to peel straight off when you get back. A bit of WD40 or nail polish remover will help you get it off a bit easier.
