See, this is one of the wonderful things about being on consultation.  No-one really cares if I'm working or not, so trip to the pub at lunch and two pints of Farmer Jim's, God is in His heaven and all is right with the world.  *hic*

Redundancy basically.  The consultation stage is the bit before they officially announce you're for the chop, but foregone conclusion here.  So I have a Friday afternoon of CV updating and job hunting, all fuelled by cider!

Awesome

though saddened by not meeting you..................................... til next year :-)

Glad to hear matty! I let my inner Gillespie come out on the first day

Went to bed on Monday night, up crack of dawn on Tuesday and spent most of the day travelling. Met up with crew and arrived at Glastonbury at 1 am Tuesday night. Started drinking in the queue and kept going until about 3 am Wednesday night.

So...over 24 hours of drinking and no sleep well and truly got the better of me :)  next year, next year!

Good luck quark cider always helps

It's all good.  Been debating leaving for ages anyway, the decision's been made for me and I get a small lump sum on my way out of the door.

Found out the week before GF, so it was a great way to have a blow out and then come back to start job hunting.  Perfect timing.

I'm a fecker for getting the wobbles when on it

It's only happened in the last year or so but now whenever I have a drink my centre of gravity decides to go out the door. Gonna need one of them granny walking frames soon!

I managed to have a couple of whitey episodes over the week.  Both occasions I was lucky enough to get out of the worst of the crowd so I could have a lie down and sweat it out, and both times I had some very nice ladies (in one case with her kids!) leaning over to check on me.  10 minute lie down, a fresh chocolate milkshake and I was on my way again!

I didn't have any falls or whiteys at Glasto thankfully although morbidly close to both on several occasions! Spent most of the morning / early afternoon on Friday around the cider bus and Pyramid, man that stuff is rocket fuel!

I didnt take a whitey but did lose the loss of my feckin legs for half a day and couldnt stand up off my space cakes,

Reminder for next year, not so bloody strong aye!!!!

We live and learn Tommy, we live and learn.

I looked up whiteys on Wikipedia, and apparently it's not all to do with strength.  Food, hydration, tiredness can all have an effect as well.

Interestingly, those who have low blood pressure due to high levels of physical fitness can also be affected.  So I'm running with that one.
