Morning, great day yesterday, BBQ with Glasto buddies. Then caught the bus to the local park and watched The feeling and Spandau ballet, followed by a couple of cocktails.. Beautiful warm night and plenty of singing and dancing

Houston ... We have a problem this morning though , my voice has totally gone, not a squeak left. Been fighting off the glasto sore throat and stuffed up feeling all week , and now oops .... Nothing left !

I've got the lurgy. Throat killing and feel like crap. Also got tickets to go and see The Frames this evening. Kinda wish I wasn't going on me tod now.

Better get up out of my pit and try and put a smile on today.

Morning all also have the obligatory post glasto cold here, was our works annual staff conference last night lots of boring stuff in the day then a bit of a "do" in the evening and stop over in a rather lovely hotel, usually good craic but I really wasn't up for it had 1 beer then went to bed at 11. One of my colleagues asked why I was drinking diet coke and when I replied that I wasn't drinking his response was "I've never heard those words come out of your mouth before!"

Mmmm, may have to consider my reputation at work ....

no lurgy here, but last night it was a tad glasto-esque in that i got to fall asleep to BOOM BOOM BOOM and the sounds of people having a great time.  my neighbours party ended at around 9am.  there were other parties going on around as well.

 

some people would hate to live in a part of the world where it's this noisey at weekends.  i love it!

My friends are all at RockPrest this weekend (local music fest) but I am lurgified and spend most of yesterday in bed.  Only just with it now. Glasto-flu is not fun.
