Hungover slightly today, I need some of that Glasto adrenaline to get me going, though a friend has invited me round for a roast dinner, nice end to the first reality weekend.

Suns been shining all day and just found out Lloyd Yates are doing a free gig outside about 2 miles away so going to jump on my bike and finish the weekend with some live music. Would post a link to them but have no idea how to (anyone help)

My friends are all at RockPrest this weekend (local music fest) but I am lurgified and spend most of yesterday in bed.  Only just with it now. Glasto-flu is not fun.

If I hadn't have been in Manchester overnight I'd have gone along, looked like a good line-up!

Me and Mrs Mattyc were in one of the many mosh pits and getting near the front was so easy!!

 

Shame about the sound and lack of any interest in Vintage Trouble though. I felt sorry for them.

Big thanks once again for picking Deb and I up, and especially for driving as well, think I owe you a few beers at Larmer Tree.

Like you I felt for vintage trouble and the sound was very echoey (is that a word) and very poor

Nearly have hearing back, well right ear ok but left still dodgey makes the balance a bit weird.

Rock and metal crowds can be like that for the old school bands. Saw Iron Maiden a few years ago; Dragonforce were supporting and the crowd barely gave them the time of day.

Lazy day watching tv programs all day, so havent even ventured outside to see what the weathers like, has looked bright enough though

Off the the cinema to watch the new terminator film shortly though

It's been sunny here most of the day. Except at around 4pm just as we started serving the food from the BBQ. There was some exceptionally heavy vertically falling liquid stuff which resulted in immediate evacuation of the garden and some soggy sausages.

I hope the weather gods appreciated our sacrifice (and the ticket gods too) and that this will endear us to them in October and next June.

Evenin' all, been out and about this weekend, paying something back for June and paying it forward for next June, with undesirable weather.  Little bit of moisture keeps people off the allotments for some reason, although I think I've got a cold coming on now after planting leeks (more rock n roll lifestyles).  Had a bit of a problem with get_iplayer last night, but am very excited to now have some choons to listen to bolster up some vague memories.
