Have you got a recording of the long drops too, to play during the F5-ing?

I'm in to help for tickets too. Manic day in the office today, not helped by nerves over a date off in October!!

Buying for a big group, but happy to get stuck in for NFRNFC as well!

Although I do have a question, and as a warning my job is based on asking questions about money! As a newcomer to the boards, what's the deal with trust and deposit money? Has it worked on here before without anyone getting stung?

Not helping the stereotypical image of Ferengi...

I've not heard about any problems. but it does rely on trust, I agree.  Many people across many threads have offered help, but it's maybe easier to set something up with a regular poster rather than someone who just logged in that day. Your Ferengi sense should help you past those bearded flag avatars who would take your card and buy the largest most expensive pizza in Naples and fly it back to Leeds in Business Class. I feel easier giving my card details to a few, as the overall process isn't slow to end, or to take a phone call and tell them the details directly for the pay screen.  Sawdusty Surfer got ours last year, and I trust him with my details, as he's a trader there, and regular poster.  Care does need to be taken, so it's like any financial transaction.

Yes please to any help from anyone in October - and help will be reciprocated....... though I do already have a list and can see that getting very big!!!!

 

Deposits are easier as they are less £££ but there has to be trust one way or another.

 

Either person wanting tickets giving out bank details or person buying using theirs and trusting they will get the money - which so fare has 100% happened.

 

 

It is easier for the buyer to use their details as they can get 6 (if same as last year) on one screen rather than trying to get in lots of times.

 

 

 

We would also need an easy way to know if someone has tickets so they can be removed from the list so as not to hold up the bookings page......

 

Facebook is useful for this from experience last year.

Tip of the day

When cutting your own hair make sure you concentrate.

I forgot to check I had the number one clipper attached.................................

I now have even shorter than normal hair and a rather cold head!

I once was doing my sideburns and pushed to high i was only having a grade 4 ended up grade 1

I am up to help anyone, I was lucky last year someone got my ticket and the money was in there bank account within a hour.

It's easier to do the ticket buying in one transaction rather than attempting to buy small groups from a card you do not know and are slow to enter details in, especially how quick they sell out, eek.

Getting bloody nervous typing this. ARGH the stress of ticket day.

I might set up a text message group and have that as the ringtone everytime someone messages through. Hopefully it'll all be success stories.
