Morning all. Not a good start. Engine management light on in car. Had to go to garage. Supposed to be at important meeting at 9am. Now trying to get taxi to borrow my wife's car.

Today is the big day for my knee, off to the specialist later this morning to hopefully find out exactly what state it's in and how bad the damage is.  Not really expecting many answers as I suspect it will need an MRI, but nice to get the ball rolling at last.

Had a couple of injuries to it over the last few months (both at work) and have been off work with it for a few weeks now. Suspected ligament and tendon damage but not sure to what extent.  It hadn't fixed itself after the first injury (dog vs knee-cap) so the second injury (metal pole vs knee-cap) pushed it over the edge.
