ah that's a bummer.  take it's too late for you now?

 

 

Everyone has gone home from work and it's the wrong weekend to ask tomorrow so I can ask around Monday... Too late for Matty tho! Would be a shame for it to go to waste just because I may not be able to sort it!

Matty if you still have one free next week may I try to get time off? Only if no one else wants it. Promise I'll be on my best behaviour hahaha

Here is the situation.

 

I have offered 2/3 tickets to someone (3 if a child counts which I think they do) and they are discussing later.

 

Yeti has one reserved for him.

 

If the other party does not want them then there is a ticket for CG as well and I can arrange stuff before I go just in case leave can be got......

 

What I would do is tell Larmer Tree your names and if it then turned out you could not get time off then it matters not...... it is too short a notice for most.

 

 

So - watch this space CG and ask for the time off. I should/will know by lunch tomorrow I think.

If you can get time off then a  ticket is yours regardless of all the other stuff - cos under 5's do not count and one of the others is under 5

Evening all :)

Firstly, apologies for neglecting my finbarring duties. We have friends coming for a dinner party tomorrow night, and I've spent the whole day getting the house clean and foodie and alcoholic treats prepared. That, coupled with a crap night's sleep and gumby jr's ability to make mess faster than I clean up mess, have resulted in little time for browsing efests.

Congrats on passing your test, kellly.

Matty, what a lovely guy you are! Many people would try to make a bunch of cash out of won tickets, you're showing the NFR NFC spirit!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Mrs. Gumby has just got back with Chinese takeaway, so I'd best go. Happy Pina Colada night!

have you tried gin?

 

whenever one of my future daughter-in-laws needs a complicated snow white dress making in a hurry, that's what i do.

Dee you just need to make an excellent addition to the "Expectation vs Reality" tumblr :P  I'm sure you'll be fine, just read the pattern over and over, and remember YouTube is your friend!

Oh dear Dee... I feel for you! I actually would not have the first clue on how to make a simple shift dress, never mind that contraption. eBay is a wonderful thing!! Good luck.

 

Once the material and stuff has been bought it will be more expensive than buying one off tinterweb but apparently those snow white dresses are too tarty!..............roll on 8th August when I can relax

Suppose they are a bit tarty. And yes the materials will cost you a fortune!! Is the 8 th Aug the wedding?

This is more serious than gin....I'm trying Lambs spiced rum

I would like to make a recommendation. Ditch the Lambs and look for Red Leg spiced rum. With ginger beer and a splash of apple juice. You can thank me at next year's meet :biggrin:

Have tried many makes of spiced rum ....hic... but I'm definitely a Lambs fan...and no 5 a day needed to be added
