Where would Faithless fit? Its got to be either subbing Roses or RHCP hasn't it? Doubt they would be the Saturday co-headliner. Radio 1 headliners? If they done that its likely to be on the Friday or Sunday.

On another note, Enter Shikari's drummer has said on twitter that they're not playing T this year (or R/L). Keep wanting them to play in Tuts. Keeps not happening.

If it's the same as it was in 2011/2012 then nothing much at all. As a festival it's awful, there's nothing to do away from the music.

Very close to home that weekend. Why do they have to do that on the Saturday though? Either a Stone Roses clash or probably a New Order clash if they do play T.

Charlatans on a Thursday at V? It's only a 2 day festival though and V has always been the same with nothing going on away from the music. Surely that can't be right?

That would make more sense, but V is the biggest rip off of them all (not even taking into account the worst lineup anywhere). £220 for 2 days of music. In comparison with all of the other festivals it's shocking, and I don't know how they get away with it still. Having one band on the Friday isn't even early bird is it? It's just giving you one band, where other festivals give you the whole day of music.

Reading/leeds have just sent out email going on about festival excluives. They start with RHCP and then say now for uk festival exclusives. I've read it as RHCP are English excluive so I'd guess Neil is correct and they'll be at T

Now that the second batch of artists has been announced, let’s look at the Reading & Leeds festival exclusives.

We have not 1, not 3, not even 5 but 6 festival exclusives announced so far.
 
Headlining the Main Stage is a band that is all ours. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be playing a festival exclusive, so you won’t be able to see them anywhere else. It has been nine long years since the band last performed at Reading & Leeds and we are so excited to have them back!

So what about the UK exclusives? Well, the list is pretty impressive.

They're down as a SR though, so while not being certain you must at least think there's a decent chance they'll be there?

That doesn't make sense to me. What kind of exclusive are they implying that RHCP are? 'You won't be able to see them anywhere else'. They certainly aren't a world or european exclusive, and if they were UK exclusive then they would have listed them under the UK exclusives.

Laughable that they are trying to word it in such a way. You won't be able to see them anywhere else, unless you drive a few hours up the road from Leeds. Well it is looking that way anyway from the suspicious wording. Not a fan myself, but that does make it look more likely.
