Only acts I would take at T from that V announcement are Kaiser Chiefs, Jake Bugg, Bastille and Travis. But even at that I wouldn't want them taking up such high places like they are at V.

Kaiser Chiefs mid-main is always a good singalong if a bit predictable. Jake Bugg dropping down a place or two would be better for him, doesn't have the stage presence for subheadline. Bastille fourth top with a new album, which will probably sell hugely, would seem fair. Would like to see Travis play a smaller stage again after how good they were in King Tuts.

Bastille played fourth down at T and V in 2014, then moved up to third at Reading 2015, so I can't see them going back down to fourth with a new album

Fair point, forgot about their English slots and was just basing it on their last T appearance, I'm sure you're right.

Hopefully in that case they would stay third and not move up further to subheadline like Jake Bugg did after two albums.

How about Kaiser Chiefs headlining Tuts? Could work alongside Roses and Disclosure on Main/R1 on Friday.

Ideal world Kaiser Chiefs headline R1 on the Friday,Disclosure headline R1 on the Saturday and the chemical brothers headline R1 on the Sunday.

Happy days

Yeah I hope you're right. I much prefer my subheadliners to have a long back catalogue to draw on like when we've had Pulp, Noel Gallagher, Elbow and Stereophonics.

Also although I don't like them, 5/6 years ago they even got Beyonce and Jay-Z as subs.

Crazy how fast things have changed isn't it

I'm all for Kaiser Chiefs headlining KT on the Friday. It would be ideal actually, let them play to half a tent while not wasting a lower spot where something decent might have been on. I don't think for one minute they would agree to play at the same time as Stone Roses though. I reckon you're looking at something more poppy in KT that night if it's Disclosure on R1.

Jake Bugg and Bastille are probably two of the three people playing 3rd up on the main stage. Then again, both could probably headline KT against the right people.

Example KT headliner on the Friday? Just had a look through and he done it on the Sunday in 2014. I'm guessing he will be there, would that be a fair mix with Roses and Disclosure (or even Chemical Brothers)?

Kaiser Chiefs headlining R1 isn't ideal in any form. King Tuts would be interesting though. Could even be brilliant.

If you are referring to what I said then I said KT not R1 stage, but I really don't like them and I was meaning I would be happy for them to be on at the same time as Roses so they didn't take up a spot when I might not have something to watch. I don't see any chance of them clashing with Roses though. Saturday KT would be most likely if they were to play in there if they're up against Calvin and LCD?

I can see Craig Davids TS5 being at TITP this year hes getting back a shit tonne of popularity this year and hes at a load of festivals, I'd nail on Faithless to appear at some point across the weekend.

Still refusing to believe Calvin Harris will be there just out of principle.

Headliners: Stone Roses/ Justin Beiber (Jack U Dance headliner)/ Muse
R1 Headliners Faithless/Chemical Brothers/Primal Scream

This is just a guess and I dunno about the days that people will be playing.

EDIT: Forgot about Disclosure they'll probably headline R1 instead of Primal Scream but a bit odd to have three dance acts on there so Faithless subbing Chems is a shout.

Rihanna is doing Glasgow though and aren't her ticket sales shit? Be surprised if she is doing T and V, it certainly won't her her ticket sales. More likely to be Biffy, Foals or Ellie Goulding 2nd on the Saturday. Probably Biffy.

She might have been booked before that. Why would she do V either?

Its never unlikely with T. They seen fit to book Calvin four years on the trot.

In all fairness he was just getting bigger and bigger and his music was changing and adapting that whole time so it was relatively fresh in terms of just his show now hes just stalllllllllllllllllllle.
