i think Elton is definitely the 'biggest' they could get now, as in would pack the field out to an insane level. he's also the only one who could probably headline the festival as well if given the chance, so for this reason i don't think he'll be doing it any time soon - maybe in a few years when he's a bit less in demand. i doubt he'd take anything but headline right now

Looking at Lionel's boost in sales, he could well do.

Tunes aside, she's not - and to my mind never has been - held in any great affection by the general public.

Her ego would well upstage Yeezys, she comes across as a bloody awful individual. Easily forgotten about when she's playing those tunes though.

Elton plays: field full of people wearing daft specs

Baz plays: field full of people in medallions and teeth

Queen play: field full of people in vests and Freddie tashes

Miss Ross plays: field full of people.....er.....being unpleasant

There's loads of artists that could fall into the LEGEND category these days.

Gabriel, Collins, Waters, Gilmour, Elton John, Billy Joel, Jeff Lynne, Barry Gibb, Cher, Stevie Nicks, Madonna etc.

Some could headline in their own right but others might just do it for the money and the fact that they only have to play an hour instead of 2.

The more times goes by the more ridiculous and yet realistic the options actually become.

Rolling out an artist that isn't actually touring in order to boost their back catalogue sales seems like a win-win for everyone.

Back in the day it was just another slot but since Kenny Rogers played it feels as if it has become the 4th headliner in itself. Maybe Glastonbury has to push the boat out financially to get them to play this slot. Maybe paying even more for the Legend for only half the stage time than they would for a headliner.

It'll probably be Beyonce again in a few years time.
