Tom Petty would headline after the Isle of Wight no?

I think Elton would be bigger than Lionel depending on clashes.

Wouldn't be too shocked if Sunday looked like....Elton, Adele and Fleetwood Mac

I think youre really over-estimating the booking power of glasto there. Thats 3 headliners, not a chance.

Slightly off topic in terms of 2016 legends.

But does anybody know if any of the legend slot performers have been back at glastonbury in a different capacity?

Missed out in 2010 for unforeseen curcumstances and was gutted to have missed Ray Davies on the Pyramid?

i know he's playing the extravaganza this year, but can anyone see him being at Glastonbury in the near future?

Fuck you all, I'd love to see Robbie Williams. I reckon FloorFiller would happily be arm in arm with me belting out all his bangers.

As long as he doesn't play Angels, I'm in. Get Kylie as a special guest for Kids.

I'm starting to think this might be a good idea.

Nah, we'll take Nicole Kidman for Robbie doing a special Swing When You're Winning set. Literally the greatest album ever.

what?

You're clearly that bit too young. :P

It was the biggest-selling album of all time until the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack topped it.

I thought you were joking.  I've never heard of him and going to his wiki page didn't help much either.

I'm 37 this year for the record, not young enough to have a mobile phone in RE class and not young enough to have heard of Petey Frumpton!

Only starting? Some of us have been banging that drum for a while. Especially if it scares Take That off for a while longer.

I could always see it, I just thought it was a bit too soon.

Take That can play, but only their older stuff.

With a special version of Rock DJ? Ok.

I was joking about wanting him myself, but not him being a legend.

'Comes Alive' has sold around 18 million copies worldwide, and puts Frampton pretty high up the list of best ever selling albums. Back in my youth it was one of those albums which seemed to be in about half of record collections of people i knew.

Is the legends slot now not a sort of ironic lose your inhibitions guilty pleasure with a bit of kitch thrown in sort of thing? Seems to work better than the Paul Simon snoozefest of a few years ago.

Sting would be a fucking abomination.

That's what I was thinking, and for this reason I spent the whole of Lionel's set imagining how brilliant Elton would be in the slot.

Can't think of much other than Elton or Diana Ross that would match the last two years.
