Family Camping

Taking the whole family to Reading this year for our 'summer' holiday, 

 

Took my daughter a couple of years ago (she was 12 at the time) - we camped in green, which was fine. Good access to the arena

 

However, taking my partner and both daughters this time (now aged 14 and 16) . Thinking I'll try and camp in the same zone again but just wondering where other families may be camping. 

 

Not bothered about it being quiet or not as its a festival after all !!!!

Family camping is generally in white I believe.

Arggh drat! I've got green car parking. Will probs stick to green as white is way out!!

The further West you head towards White camp it is considerably quieter at night, especially as Purple finishes, as most revellers head towards Yellow & Green where there is a bit more to see & do ie funfair, Oxfam tent, market & the food stalls.

If you want to be a little quieter (and not as far as white) head to the end of red by the entrance. It's only a couple of mins further than green but will be a bit quieter (although nowhere near as dead as white).
