JSmurphy
Looks like Pendulum's reunion show went successfully. Typically shite American crowd tho. Get em' booked R&L, the crowd would be mad.

Biogeneric
I think you've nailed it. Seriously though, if we do end up getting both Muse and Foo Fighters, that'd be an amazing lineup for me. I reckon FF will do Glastonbury next year though. Are you delusional? Andy Copping won't be accepting anything below straight out headline, with the addition of his own exclusive cowboy hat stage. Gozpot
I think Copping would be fine with a co-headline, provided it's with Baby Metal

VCK
What about The Killers? Not everyone's cup of tea on here but surely due a return, seeing as how they've played TITP and V like 500 times since they last did Reading and Leeds. Well considering last year we had Mumford and Sons i think The Killers wouldn't be bad at all, provided they have a new album out and it does well. Pvris, The Struts, Brian Fallon all too high. Deftones would sub, Frank Turner will likely be third from the top next time he plays and A Day To Remember would probably Sub over Catfish. JSmurphy
If the Biffy / Fall Out Boy combination this year was indeed a backup to Guns N' Roses (who pulled all their Euro plans), I can see R&L being pretty keen on getting them for 2017, although I imagine Download / IOW would also be keen. Yeah that's the way I see it as well. I think FR could throw a helluva lot more of the R+L budget at them than the Download one. Mind you, they could very easily go about doing their own shows. BST was lined up for them and that's put on by AEG who have a big old contract on them and could steer them away from some offers and towards their own events. Could maybe do both though. Gozpot
Linkin Park seem long overdue playing Reading again, not really a fan of their newer stuff but they're still a big act and it's been a long time, wonder if they're in with a shout

Everyone thought they were gonna be announced last year to be fair before Metallica were revealed. I think they've gotta be potentially in the running for 2017 if they're around, it'd make sense

They last played in 2003, seems like surely in the next couple of years they will play.

Think the festival would have to be pretty desperate to consider them. More likely to just keep popping up at Download every 4 or so years. RedBalloon
I think if The Strokes new album goes down well they could be a low key headliner. But knowing them the Album will be w*nk.

They've headlined before, although they've gone a bit quiet, if it does well they could headline, but if it doesn't i think they've lost their relevance a bit too much to headline, not a huge fan but there's definitely worse acts that could headline

Haha, Dre was never appearing on a sub set. Has to be said though when the schedule came out it was a shockingly bad lineup this year.
