You can expect Kasabian to be officially announced in the next couple of weeks.

Royal Blood have been booked, but not as headliners, so I presume they will be on before one of the headliners.

Also booked are Catfish And The Bottlemen, Twenty One Pilots, You Me At Six, Jake Bugg, A Day To Remember, Wolf Alice, Run The Jewels, Metronomy and Enter Shikari.

I haven't been told who the other two headliners are, but I will just pass on to you what I have been told: Expect two very big names.

Of course this could be bullshit as you're a new account and this is your first post, but I guess we'll see if the announcement is similar to this. If your info about Royal Blood and 'two very big names' is true then I suspect that Royal Blood will be subbing someone like Guns n Roses. Perhaps Kasabian // Guns N Roses // Kanye?

Cheers for the info, obviously we don't know how truthful you are being but we shouldn't call out someone on one post. I hope you are correct as it'll put this RB to co-headline bullshit already to bed. I will say mind that most of them could be decent guesses by most on here.

It won't be GNR.

Personally I would love to see

Kasabian
Royal Blood

Jake Bugg

The Stone Roses
Catfish and the bottlemen

Stormzy

Kanye West
Skepta

Enter Shikari

This is presuming kasabian are already headlining, otherwise I would've had BMTH in there place

For £60, I'd have trouble not going Saturday given there would be other bands too. I'll probably catch RB at Glasto even though I'm not a huge fan and Kasabian I've done.

If the info that The Roses pulled this year then I can't see why if the band were better placed that MB wouldn't try again. MB's involvement in Glastonbury now....I'm sure he is somehow might help too.

I hope this is true, some very solid names in there and two very big headliners alongside would be even better.

If BBK as a collective played 4th top this year then there's no chance that Skepta is subbing.

Also Catfish, Stormzy and Stone Roses all in one day would definitely not be one for me.

why?

I just don't think he will.

Yeah, hip-hop doesn't belong at R&L and they never should headline. They should keep acts like Boy Better Know, A$AP Rocky, Nas, Kendrick, Run The Jewels, Macklemore and Eminem away...

(Sarcasm incase I didn't make that clear)

When did I say hip-hop doesn't belong at R+L? I just don't think Kanye will headline this year.

Royal Blood as a outright headliner without having even announced a second album? Not happening.

Kasabian are a cert, Stone Roses seem possible, although with their reputation live i'd rather we got someone else.

What's their reputation? I saw them in the summer and they were great, saw great reviews of their TITP gig too. I know they fucked their '96 set, but surely that's ancient history now? The Chilis headlined off the back of a poor previous set and that was only '07.

I hope this isnt bollocks. Assuming you're telling the truth, do you know where any of those bands are playing (e.g. sub, third down etc)?

You would spent £200+ on a lineup worth £140 then minus their own stage setups?

It'd be pretty unlikely for me to like nothing else there. But yeah there's no way I'd be missing any festival where 2 of my 4 favourite bands were headlining + Kanye.

The list that fella with the inside info has posted is pretty predictable, nice to see Metronomy though, hope that's true.

Although it would say Skepta, he always brings out the rest anyway, could only see him or subbing an act like Kanye anyway, but if Kanye does play, Skepta or BBK should be quite high up on the main stage, especially after last years performance

I was thinking Kanye myself - although that is purely based on my own personal prediction, instead of inside info.

I reckon the other one could possibly be Green Day or The Stone Roses. Again, just my prediction as I've not been given names. Personally I'm hoping for someone more atypical of the festival's choice for headliners, like The Who or Springsteen! That would be brilliiant.

There will be no co-headliners next year.

Most of them will be playing Main Stage. I'm not sure which position though. I'd imagine the ones who aren't will be NME headliners.

YMAS and Shikari to play third down and ADTR NME headliner opposite Kasabian.

I reckon You Me At Six will be one of the other subs.

I think Springsteen is about as likely as Michael Jackson.

Yep. Shame really, the last time the festival went out of their way to get a "different" headliner was with The Cure.

Seems a little bizarre how conservative your 'inside info' is. The only concrete info you provide is Kasabain, listed on here as a TBC for weeks, and then list bands who have all been touted on here as likely to play. Also, you claim you don't know the other two headliners, yet can confirm there won't be a co-headline? Not trying to rag on a new poster but seems pretty fabricated.

i could take a good guess (if it's true) at Catfish subbing Kasabian, You Me at Six another sub, Twenty One Pilots and A Day to Remember third, Wolf Alice fourth, Run the Jewels fifth and Enter Shikari and Metronomy both NME headliners. fuck knows where Jake Bugg would end up these days

tbh all of those acts are ones that anybody could guess pretty easily so unsure whether to buy in to it at all. i expected all/most of them to be there anyway

I doubt RTJ are going as low as 5th, 4th comfortable for them.

Aye it happens like that five times a year. Basically a prediction with a backstory.
